Love In Elevator

Originally four-piece, the band developed into the honed-down trio.
Their debut single (“Venoma”, 2004) and following debut album on Jestrai Records (“Sue Me”, 2005) allowed the band to tour along with important italian rock bands such as Verdena, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, One Dimensional Man, and international Art Brut (UK), and to take part to the Rock in Idro Festival, along with Juliette Lewis and the Licks, Turbonegro, The Hives and many others.

The follow-up album was released in 2008. “Re Pulsion” was recorded with Giulio Ragno Favero in the producer's seat. This is the album which best represent the sound of the band: a thick slab of beefed up riffs dripping with grungey goodness in the saucy guitar tones and some awesome singing from lead singer Anna who has a snarling, aggressive voice which carries across an ambivalent vision of a dominat female and innocent child.

“Il Giorno dell'Assenza” album came out on the E&F/ Go Down Records/ Audioglobe labels in November 2010. It is the band's first album written and sung totally in Italian. First catchy single “Mata Hari” appeared on MTV.

By now, Love in Elevator have been touring in Italy, France and Germany, and they have been selected to be official support band of Shellac, Mudhoney and Meat Puppets, in their recent Italian tours.
