Nina Nastasia and Jim White
Beloved songstress Nina Nastasia pairs up with Dirty Three's Jim White, two ATP favorites in deep dialogue. Nina's port of entry into the UK was through ATP years ago, and she asked Jim along. Their first concert ever together happened at Camber Sands while fleshing out Nastasia's pending third recording, Run to Ruin. The two have made three records together hence, but the forthcoming is a different animal completely: all the sobering, haunting heart Nina's known for, but provoked, stripped and extruded. It's just the two of them, and Jim makes for an orchestra. ATP marks the first public UK performance of this collaboration, and rare luck brought them together for it.
