TSK, a three piece band, formed in 1993 in Bologna-Italy and immediately started an intense burst of live activity playing with Surgery, Come, Shellac, Blonde Redhead, June of 44 and Shipping News.up to a total of 300 shows.
The first album came out in June '96 "F.P.R." (Lollypop Rec.) which recieved very positive rewiews from the Italian music press and overseas fanzines, and was played on John Pell's BBC Radio 1 show.
"EVERYDAY EVERYMAN" recorded live at the end of October '96 at "La nuova Ciminiera" studio, Catania, was produced by Mr. Iain Burgess, previously at the controls for Big Black, Naked Raygun, Jawbox, Cows.This second album was pressed by Wide Rec.(Pisa) in April '98 and distributed in Europe by Southern (London).
The human and financial support of David Lenci and Andreas Venetis and the inestimable support of Indigena Management made it all possible. In September '99 a 12" "Focal Point" for the US market came out on Slowdime Rec. (Washington DC - only vynil),recorded in their practice space by David "The Prince" Lenci (as the first one). To promote this record the band undertook a 21 date tour of the States with June of 44, continuing a close collaboration of friendship and exchange.
TSK are part of Indigena Management of Catania, a cooperative that brings together diverse, vital bands from the Italian music scene, helping those who work with conviction and are dedicated to the search for a sound without borders.
