Video: Kanye West + Daft Punk at the Grammys - 02.11.2008
Any title that contains "the" and "Grammys" might put off more than a few individuals who read the stuff of Treble, but let us reassure that this video is well worth your time. Kanye West and his ego made their obligatory stop at last night's Grammy Awards, picking up the best rap album award for Graduation and then criticizing Common for having the gall to release Finding Forever in the same year. He also took the stage to rock "Stronger," a performance marked by glow-in-the-dark glasses and live awesomeness from Daft Punk themselves:

Fuck Buttons' Street Horrrsing - 02.11.2008

And thus the day came that Fuck Buttons would make their full-length debut. And it will be a day of noteworthy electro-psych-drone-y music, and also a day of wondering who you'll offend by saying the band's name out loud. Will people say "Eff Buttons" instead? I sure as fuck hope not.

On March 18th, UK's Fuck Buttons will release Street Horrrsing. Take a gander at the good stuff now, as the band's take on melodic electro-noise is really quite interesting:

The Expansion of Whiskeytown's Strangers Almanac - 02.11.2008

Not the title of an upcoming Ryan Adams-penned noir film (though I wouldn't put it past him to take up screenwriting as his next hobby of the month), but an actual expanded reissue of Whiskeytown's Strangers Almanac, the amazing 1997 album from Ryan Adams' band before he went solo and also slightly nuts.

Out on March 4th, the reissue will feature two discs chock full of the original album tracks plus previously unreleased recordings from early sessions (apparently know to some as "Barn's on Fire Sessions"):
