One band that I've never seen before, but whose SXSW appearance I'm eagerly awaiting is Fuck Buttons.

I began listening to a few of their tracks on the recommendation of a friend who described them as Wolf Eyes, except without the apocalyptic streak. This turned out to be quite accurate. Like Wolf Eyes, Fuck Buttons' work is grounded on droning loops, squeaking guitars, and heavily pulsing drums. Unlike them however, Andrew Hung and Benjamin Power - the Bristol, UK duo who make up Fuck Buttons - insert bright (and occasionally twinkling) patterns into the mix, along with distant, distorted, Lightning Bolt-esque vocalizing.

Fuck Buttons have two official SXSW shows:
