ATP founder Barry Hogan: 'We are over the moon to announce some of our favourite bands playing Iceland for the very first time. Only our second year but everyone from ATP royalty like Mogwai and Shellac to bands who heavily influenced us from Loop to Low. We love Iceland and can't wait to be back once again to share this stellar lineup and unique setting with you.'
Dates: The festival takes place on three days - Thursday 10th, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July, 2014. The music will run from 7pm to 2am each day (exact times subject to change) with around 25 acts set to play live across the three days.
Location: ATP Iceland will be held at Ásbrú, the former NATO base in Keflavík, Iceland. The former NATO base dates back to 1941 and the last US military personnel left in 2006. The site is located only 5 minutes away from Iceland's main international airport, 15 minutes from the famous Blue Lagoon and 30 minutes from Reykjavík. The festival site will host two indoor stages and a cinema with films picked by ATP and the bands, as well as the usual ATP extracurricular activities like DJs, Pop Quiz and much more. The capacity for the intimate festival is just 5000 people.
Accomodation: Festival tickets that include on-site accommodation quickly sold out, so the festival has secured extra accommodation at Ásbrú to reflect the demand. Located only a short walk from the venues, these tickets are available as 2-berth and 4-berth HERE
Neil Young & Crazy Horse play Iceland for the first time ever as part of the ATP Icelandic Takeover 7th July - 12th July. Combined ATP Iceland and Neil Young tickets are available HERE
