Marissa Nadler has been bringing dreamy atmospheric folk music to your ears since the release of her debut album, Ballads of Living and Dying, in 2004. Throughout her past four full length releases, she has shared the warmth and imagination of her visions and realities in songs that combine hazy sonic landscapes, imaginatively lyrical story-like passages, and sad, beautiful melodies. These works exist in a realm of timelessness and reward multiple listens and quiet contemplation, with her haunting angelic voice always at the forefront of her music, emotionally bare and starkly human. With each release, Nadler's songwriting skills, intricate guitar playing, and silken voice have grown more confident, and she is at the eve of releasing her fifth LP, a work she has spent the past two years writing. She is honored to perform at All Tomorrow Parties and excited to share many of her new songs for you.
