Belle & Sebastian

As one of Scotland's greatest exports, Belle & Sebastian catapulted into the world twenty years ago. With their name stolen from a 1965 children's book by French writer Cécile Aubry, this top-notch act is famously remembered for the band's 1996 debut Tigermilk and a limited first run of just 1,000 copies which left fans scrabbling in record bins around the country. The Glaswegians have gone on to sell over 3 million albums, release a dozen golden singles and play countless sold-out shows around the world.
