Acoustic Ladyland
After ten years in existence, Acoustic Ladyland will reincarnate in 2011 with the same personnel but a dynamic new approach and a brand new name.
Before the old name is shelved for good, the group will perform a series of very special farewell concerts around the UK, performing old material as well as a glimpse of the new stuff.
The band’s stunning ack-ack aural assault currently features band leader Pete Wareham (vocals, tenor & baritone sax) alongside internationally acclaimed drummer Seb Rochford (Polar Bear), Trio VD’s Chris Sharkey (guitar) and Ruth Goller (bass guitar). With this self-enforced Year Zero rapidly approaching, you can expect the most ferocious and exhilarating shows of their careers. Destructive, brilliant and utterly thrilling, be assured they’ll be going out with a bang.
