  • When/where is it?

    The event takes place over 3 days, from Friday 21st September to Sunday 23rd September 2012 inclusive at Pier 36, Manhattan, New York City.

    Pier 36 is a new indoor venue sitting on the edge of the East River between the Manhattan & Williamsburg Bridges - it's outside area boasts glorious views of Brooklyn and the Statue of Liberty.

    The three-day festival will feature 35+ acts set to play live across the weekend with DJ sets until late, art, comedy, movies and more! Cinema will be hosted by The Criterion Collection.

    Friday runs from 5pm-1am, Saturday and Sunday from Noon-1am. Headliners finish by 1am Friday, and midnight Saturday and Sunday.

  • How much do tickets cost and where can I get them?

    Weekend passes cost $199. Friday passes cost $60, Saturday / Sunday Passes are $75. Tickets are available now from this link.

  • What accommodation is available nearby?

    The five boroughs of New York City are home to an incredibly wide selection of accommodations - tar too many for us to list - airbnb.com, hotwire.com, booking.com, hotels.com and tripadvisor.com are good places to research. Those ATP ticketholders who have been waiting for information regarding rooms at Asbury Park's Berkeley hotel will be emailed information regarding reduced booking rates at Manhattan's Ace Hotel.

  • When Will I Receive My Tickets?

    Tickets will be dispatched to all customers in the USA and Canada in early August at the latest.

    Unless otherwise stated by your Ticket Agent when you buy, all international orders (non US/Canada) will pick up their tickets from willcall collection at the event on the day.

    All ticketholders and accommodation holders will be emailed prior to the event with more info on the event and information on how to check-in for their tickets at willcall (if applicable).

    Please allow some time for your tickets to arrive before contacting us - as distances and postage times will vary and some orders may arrive sooner than others.

  • What if I have a problem with my ticket(s) or want to order over the phone?

  • I feel like driving to ATP but how do I get there?

    Use full address for routeplaners/GPS: 299 South St. New York, NY 10002

    Southbound - Take FDR Drive south and exit at South Street (exit #3) At the light at the bottom of the ramp – turn left and proceed under the highway - Pier 36 is directly in front of you.

    Northbound - Take South Street north (under the FDR highway), past the South Street Seaport (do not go on the FDR Drive). Continue north on South Street (under the Manhattan Bridge, Pathmark on your left), until you see the Department of Sanitation on your right. At the next intersection (South Street and Montgomery Street), turn right at the light for Pier 36.(the entrance for the FDR north will be directly in front of you at the light).

  • Which is the nearest Airport and how do I get from there to the event?

  • What options are available if I wanted to travel to the site using public transport?

    Take the F Train to East Broadway station - Pier 36 is a 4 block walk away from the station. On arrival take the Rutgers St./Madison St. Exit from the station, then walk east on Rutgers Street towards the water. Turn left on South Street heading north. The F train runs to and from East Broadway all day/night.

  • What Times Can I Check In, and Where Do I Check In?

    From 6pm Friday and from Noon Saturday and Sunday. You check in at the main entrance to Pier 36.

  • What Time Do The Bands Start On Friday?

    Doors open at 6pm on Friday with bands/comedy from 7pm.

  • What Else Is There To Do?

    Well, apart from watching 35+ fantastic live acts in a great venue plus comedy, cinema hosted by The Criterion Collection, art and literature there will be DJs, Food Stalls and more.

  • Where Do I Go If I Have A Problem Over the Weekend?

  • Is there a bar at the event?

    Yes, of course! There will be several bars also with live djs.

    Non-American attendees should remember it is customary to tip bartenders per drink (a dollar per drink is the commonly accepted amount).

    Sorry but no professional type cameras or recording devices will be allowed in the venues.

    The show is all ages. Everyone attending will need a ticket.

    The main stage is indoors, and although the second stage audience area is outside all performances will still go ahead as the stage itself is undercover.

  • Our band would like to play ATP and they are great, how do I go about it getting them booked in?

    Sorry but all acts and DJ's playing ATP are selected by the curators or by us directly. Our curator has a list as long as his arm of acts he would like to invite, and so do we! So if you haven't been invited it is not likely to happen. Sorry, make a great album and maybe next year?

  • I have a stall at other festivals and would like to set up at ATP, how do I go about it?

    The only merchandise we currently allow to be sold is ATP merchandise like T-shirts or CDs and also merchandise by artists performing at the event, sorry.
