The Eternals
The winter has been a difficult one for the people of Chicago. We have had way too much snow and frigid temperatures. The Eternals are digging out of the snow and gearing up for the new year. This year we plan to be very busy creating the next phase of The Eternals. Let's call it Eternals 2001 or Phase 4. Even as we speak The Eternals are drawing up plans for another transformation. This year we will be playing and recording more. It is difficult for us to leave the city at weeks at a time for tour because the Sears Tower is the source of our strength and we cannot be away from it for long periods of time or we will literally diminish in size and power. Anyway . . . because of this we are making plans to create events here in Chicago that are not as much shows but more like experimental beat making/music making performances/dance parties. I am not sure how we will make this happen but it will happen. We will be scheduling these events maybe once a month for the next 6 months. We will also do 2 live radio shows within the next 6 months. We will also be recording every fourth practice as well as recording these various performances. All of which will be available to anyone interested because we plan to burn them onto cd-rs. We are making plans to go to Europe in April as well as playing the one-off weekend shows. So, it will be a very busy next 6 months for us. After all of of this is done when putting together our next record we will probably combine pieces of these performances with studio recordings to make the ultimate Eternals experience.
