The event takes place at Pontins Holiday Camp, East Sussex over three days from, Friday 10th May - Sunday 12th May 2013. Check in begins on Friday at midday/noon and Check out occurs on Monday morning at 10am sharp.
The event is held in a holiday resort so all tickets include a pass to the festival + 3 nights accommodation in private apartments. Each chalet is self-catering and has a small kitchen with cooking/dining utensils included, bathroom with either a shower or bath and of course a sink & toilet. The TV area doubles as a bedroom with a roll out sofa bed, and then there will either be one or two bedrooms with the relevant numbers of beds. Bedding is included in the chalets. The TV has a channel programmed by TV On The Radio and ATP.
When you go on the ticket site you will see the options are described as Berths, for example 4 Berth Self Catered. What this means is that when you buy one of these, it provides you with the numbered amount of passes for the festival plus an apartment for those people to stay in for the weekend - so for example a 5 berth would give you 5 wristbands and an apartment for 5 people for the weekend.
Because of the venue licence unfortunately you cannot purchase tickets without accommodation or buy day tickets, so all tickets include a festival pass + accommodation. The smallest chalets are for 4 people, so this is the minimum amount of people you will need in order to book.
So you basically stay on site in your own private accommodation with your friends for 3 nights and you ALSO get a pass to see all of the bands perform over 3 days, plus bar with DJs until early in the morning, free cinema programme, use of site facilities and much more!

Tickets should be received at the latest by approximately one month before the event (depending when you buy). International (non-UK) guests tickets will be held at Willcall and can be collected with photo ID and the credit card used to pay for the tickets from the box office at the event.
Some ticket agents such as Wegottickets ONLY do box office collection so make sure to check your Order Email before emailing us in a panic because your tickets haven't arrived!
Also enclosed with the tickets will be a damages disclaimer form, which you will need to sign and bring with you. If there are any broken or missing items this will be charged to the credit card that made the booking. If, when you arrive in your accommodation and something doesn't work please inform the staff at the main reception and they will arrange for a replacement.
On this form you will also need to provide the full names of the guests staying in your accommodation. Please ensure that you have this form filled out before you check-in.
The reception area will open from midday/noon on Friday morning for check-in, however the venues will not be open until later in the day, please check the website nearer the time of the event for full details of venue opening times.
Latest checkout is by 10am sharp on Monday morning.

Food / Drink: there are shops onsite where you can purchase things if you like - lots of people stock up in Rye before heading to Minehead

Electricity: This can be purchased from one of the shops onsite, we would recommend buying a small amount between you all in the chalet at first and then work it out from there.

Coach Travel between London & Camber Sands:
We've been contacted by a new crowdsourcing booking company called We Can Go Dutch, who have setup a scheme whereby people travelling from London to the TV On The Radio ATP can group together to pay a cheaper rate for coach travel.
Please note this info is provided by us as a convenience to festival goers only. We aren't connected with this company and we do not make any representations concerning them.
Yes you can park onsite, but it is limited so please if you are coming with three friends please all arrive in the same car not four separate ones. Once the car park is full you will have to park elsewhere, so be prepared!!
Also, please be considerate when parking and do not block any exits as this will result in your car being towed off site.
Usually bands begin around 4pm or 5pm on the Friday. A full schedule of times for all performances will be posted up on this website nearer to the time.
Music usually finishes at around 3am on Monday morning with DJs continuing until around 4am most nights.
Apart from nursing a huge hangover, there is a swimming pool, go-karts which are both free of charge, arcades, Cinema (with films picked by TV On The Radio and ATP), DJs, Book Club, a beach across the road, the local pubs and of course Rye Village where there are some very nice places to eat.
If you have any problem over the weekend with your accommodation, please go to the main reception firstly to see if anyone there can help. If they can't help or you have a more festival related problem or enquiry, head over to the ATP Production office and ask if you can speak to Barry, Rosalynde or Deborah from ATP.
Yes, there is a link machine in the main reception. If however this is not working or has run out there are machines in Rye Village, the addresses are as follows:

If you lose or break your wristband please come to the main reception. If you have the broken wristband please bring this with you so it can be replaced straight away.
If however you lose your wristband, please bring some form of identification with you so we can double-check your name on the accommodation listing. Photo ID would obviously be best.
If your wristband has been put on too tight please go to the main reception and we will swap it for you.
Sorry but all acts and DJ's playing ATP are selected by TV On The Radio. They have a list as long as their arms of acts they would like to invite. So if you haven't been invited it is not likely to happen. Sorry, maybe next year?
Unfortunately Pontins have let us know that their license agreement will not allow under 18s to be on site for the ATP events this year. We're very sorry about this and hope it will not prove too great a disappointment. We will try to renegotiate things in future so that under 18s and older children will be able to attend ATPs in the UK again. If you have an infant under the age of 2 and wish to come please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can give you more info on attending.
The only merchandise we currently sell is ATP merchandise like T-shirts and Posters, and also merchandise by artists performing at the event. All food and drink are provided by the venues so please do not contact us regarding food/drink vending.

We're sorry but there are no day tickets available for this festival.
As we have to hire the entire holiday camp site including all chalets for the festival weekend, room cost is factored into the ticket price and so we are unable to sell tickets without accommodation.
If you're concerned about mobility issues, please get in touch with us directly at feedback @ atpfestival.com so we can give you full details. We have a small amount of 4 person adapted chalets and can provide a complimentary ticket for carers when provided with proof of disability (so you would just pay for 3 tickets). To book these you must first contact us via feedback @ atpfestival.com
The venue requests that all festival attendees do not bring excessive quantities of alcohol onto the resort. The quantity that is deemed excessive will be at their discretion. If any ATP attendees ignores this, their alcohol will be removed and returned at the end of the weekend. If any attendees repeatedly ignore this, they may be asked to leave.
If the venue feel that this request is being ignored then further action might be taken, which could include the searching of vehicles entering the resort. Therefore, they, and we, do request that you try not to openly flaunt the policy on excessive amounts!
ATP will run a deposit scheme for the festival to make it easier for some people to pay. We are offering a limited number of 4 & 6 berth self catered apartments to be paid for with a deposit upfront, and the remaining amount to be paid by the end of January. These apartments will be sold at full price (£180) with a booking fee of £7.50 per person.
For a 4-berth, this works out as: £320 deposit now (£80pp), and then £430 for the 2nd installment in January (£107.50pp).
For a 6-berth, this work out as: £480 deposit now (£80pp), and then £645 for the 2nd installment in January (£107.50pp)
All deposits will be non-refundable, so please only apply if you are sure you can pay the remaining amount when it is due in January!
