CATHI UNSWORTH is a writer, journalist and editor who lives and works in London. Cathi began her career on Sounds in 1987 and went on to work for many music, film and alternative arts journals. She has published two previous novels, THE NOT KNOWING and THE SINGER and edited theaward-winning short story complilation LONDON NOIR (all Serpent's Tail).
She'll be reading from her new novel BAD PENNY BLUES. A sizzling noir set between 1959 and 1965, it's a tale of prostitutes, Pop Art, swinging detectives and Spiritualism, in a black and white London where murder adds a splash of colour.
BAD PENNY BLUES will be published on Serpents Tail in June 2009.
