Sam Shepherd, aka Floating Points, emerged back in 2009, receiving praise from the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs, Gilles Peterson and Kode 9 off of the back of infectious singles like ‘Love Me Like This’ and ‘For You’. He is a man of many talents; a remarkable ability to create instant funk-tinged house classics and working with everything from synths and pianos to string quartets and full brass sections. As a DJ he has a deep and eclectic crate of records from which he draws anything from house and disco to techno to dubstep in his quest to rip apart any dancefloor he graces.
