HAM are the dinosaurs of Icelandic alternative scene. Formed in 1988, the band had their first EP released on The Sugarcubes' Bad Taste label and their first LP, Buffalo Virgin was released by One Little Indian in the UK in 1989. In the 90's HAM had a brief stint in the US and gained a surprising cult status among metal fans in Iceland, following recordings produced by ex-Swans member Roli Mosimann. The band broke up in 1994 and reformed in the late 2000's. The result is their latest album "Svik, Harmur og Dauði" (Betrayal, Tragedy and Death), released in late 2011. HAM are currently working on new material, some of it will be performed at All Tomorrow's Parties.
