Mario Batkovic
Since many years Batkovic is working as a composer/songwriter and interpret for various formations and projects. Be it for bands, theater or film, he is always seeking the highest level of musical regard for the other musicians and the project itself. The personal musical signature characterizing Batkovic is reamainig recognizable in all different works. In the variety of projects one ould easily forget hat Batkovic is in first place one thing: an accordionist. With all his work he serves the Accordion, this instruemnt sometimes hardly accessable for the audience. He sees his mission in the advancement of possibilities available to this intrument, in the communication of its sounds to people. Batkovic doesn't seek success in a specifical music scene but he is looking for freedom, for musical quality and a highest level of artistical authenticity.
