Monday 24th June, 2013

All Tomorrow’s Parties are very excited for our first ATP festival in Iceland on June 28th & 29th at the former NATO base in Keflavík, which is now called Ásbrú. It will be headlined by the incomparable NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS. Mr Cave states that the first All Tomorrow's Parties Iceland will be: "My favourite festival in my favourite country...". Around 20 acts will perform at ATP Iceland including Deerhoof, Chelsea Light Moving, Thee Oh Sees, Mugison, múm, HAM and many more.  The festival site will host two indoor stages and a cinema with films, as well as the usual ATP extracurricular activities like DJs, Pop Quiz (hosted by Dr. Gunni) and much more.

Back in April when ATP Iceland was announced ATP was proud to confirm that alongside performing in SQÜRL, legendary film director Jim Jarmusch would be choosing the films playing in the festival cinema on one of the festival days. Jim Jarmusch will curate the first day of films and we can now reveal that actress Tilda Swinton will curate films on the second day of the event.

The films chosen by Jim Jarmusch are:

The 10th Victim (La Decima Vittima) - 1965, dir Elio Petri
The Boxer’s Omen (Mo) - 1983, dir Chih-Hung Kuei
Diabolik - 1968, dir Mario Bava
Our Man Flint - 1966, dir Daniel Mann

The films chosen by Tilda Swinton are:
