ATP Monthly Overview for June 2013 - Deerhunter's ATP & ATP Iceland, The Red Wing, London Shows

Tuesday 4th June, 2013

We've got a ton of amazing stuff coming up this month in ATP land. Not only do we have our last ever Summer holiday camp ATP festival curated by the mighty Deerhunter, we also have our first ever Icelandic event headlined by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Other than our already sold out London shows from The Breeders, The Black Angels and Goat, here's what we have coming up this month in full....

14th-18th June - Chelsea Light Moving UK shows in London, Bristol & Leeds:

CHELSEA LIGHT MOVING release a self-titled album on Matador Records on March 4th. CLM is the current group led by Sonic Youth founder Thurston Moore. He is the songwriter and plays over-amped hyper electric guitar and sings with raw-glam-destructo vocals. The band is a four piece featuring Samara Lubelski, who has played violin with TM on his last two solo LPs (Demolished Thoughts and Trees Outside The Academy) and with CLM plays deep psyche pop metal bass guitar. Keith Wood, who records under the aegis Hush Arbors, plays electric guitar with a pick forged from angel wing and John Moloney, aka "Pegasus", approaches the drums like an asteroid hurtling toward Earth.

This June ATP will present Chelsea Light Moving live on their debut UK shows in London, Bristol and Leeds. Tickets available here.
