Critically acclaimed rapper-producer-DJ-historian Edan released his first LP on Lewis Recordings in 2002, garnering interest from both rock and hip-hop circles first in the UK, then later in his native US.  The debut, entitled ‘Primitive Plus’, introduced Edan's unique and irreverent take on hip-hop's past.  His next album ‘Beauty and the Beat’ was widely considered a creative leap forward, and saw Edan convincingly incorporating elements of 60's psychedelia. Both albums were showered with praise, cementing Edan's reputation as one of the most daring and adventurous artists in modern day hip-hop.

Edan is currently working on an ambitious mix project tentatively titled ‘Echo Party’ that will likely see a release in the last quarter of ‘09. When he isn’t working on that, or wallowing in self-loathing, he’s doing the occasional exotic gig in places like St. Louis or Jacksonville. Once in a while the big wigs give a call, and book some high profile shit, like a spontaneous deejay set at the ATP festival.

Edan hopes to eventually give up music for a career as a writer of artist bios at 200 words or less.
