Hebronix

Hebronix is a solo project by Daniel Blumberg (Yuck), produced by Neil Hagerty (Royal Trux / Howling Hex).

Daniel and Neil recorded together in Denver, Colorado, and the result was the sublime debut album - Unreal. The album has already received some fantastic reviews:

"An album that deliberately blurs the pre-and post-nirvana boundaries. Whether enough time has passed for the contextual difference between the wide-open spaces of Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation and the prozaic balladry of Sebadoh to be safely ignored is the last thing on Blumberg's mind." *4/5 lead review in Mojo

"Unreal sounds like a remarkable artist taking the shaky first steps in a completely new direction. At turns druggy and sluggish, beautiful and engaged, the record is a confounding near masterpiece." - Interview Magazine

"The album achieves a kind of weightless beauty above and beyond anything else in the Londoner's repertoire." - *4/5 Slant

A video has also been released for the album’s 2nd track – Viral. Directed by Michael Reich, and starring both Stacy Martin (lead actress in Lars Von Trier's new feature 'Nymphomaniac'), and Sonja Kinski who hails from the acting dynasty of the Kinski’s (granddaughter of Klaus and daughter of Nastassja). It is at once an utterly beautiful piece of filmmaking and also possesses of an arrestingly offbeat narrative - perfectly fitting Hebronix’s sonic charm.
