Here's the rundown on everything that's happening next weekend...
PLEASE NOTE:
my bloody valentine will be performing on all three nights in Centre Stage. This is not the largest stage at Butlins and does not have the capacity to contain everyone attending the festival, but due to volume issues the band cannot play in the larger Pavilion stage. Therefore when you check-in at the event we will be providing everyone that attends with the choice of a wristband for either the Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights so that everyone is guaranteed to see MBV at least once.
Centre Stage will be cleared after Yo La Tengo (Fri), Spectrum (Sat) and Bob Mould (Sun) and after a short break wristbanded people will be allowed in.
We ask that people try to get into the venue on the night they have a wristband for in good time for the start of the performance, as once the band have been on-stage for 5 minutes we will then allow anybody else to enter the venue that would like to see the band more than once. Once the venue is full we will operate on a one in - one out basis, giving priority to people with that night's wristbands who weren't able to get there for the start of the show.
Please note that if you can't get into mbv's Friday set, at the same time we have the amazing DJ dance party from Ian Svenonius in the Crazy Horse, DJing from Justin Spear in Reds, Mouchette in the cinema, Bowling in the sports bar and great stuff on ATPTV!
Earplugs will be provided for my bloody valentine sets.
UPDATE on 1st DEC: Le Volume Courbe play at a later time on Saturday. Th' Faith Healers and mum play at a later time and play longer sets on Sunday. School Of Seven Bells now play Centre Stage on Sunday.

Soft Focus is an original internet television series on VBS.TV in which punk and soul musician and writer of fine cultural criticism Ian Svenonius interviews, candidly and intimately, the most dynamic musical performers of this-or any other-era. Soft Focus season 1 was taped at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City and featured chats with such luminaries as Chan Marshall, Will Oldham, Ian Mackaye and Henry Rollins. Soft Focus season 2 took us to the United Kingdom, where Ian parried with the likes of Mark E. Smith, Shaun Ryder, Kevin Shields, and Billy Childish. The recently aired third season of Soft Focus was an American road trip that took us to five cities with guests including Ad-Rock, Stephen Malkmus, Mike Watt and the Sun City Girls. In September Soft Focus was proud to appear at All Tomorrow's Parties New York where Ian tenderly interrogated, live for the enjoyment of the ATP audience, Martin and Alan of Suicide, Buzz of the Melvins, and Jon Spencer.
