Crouch End Charity Calendar 2012

Friday 25th November, 2011

The ATP office is based in Crouch End London, close to I'll Be Your Mirror London's home of Alexandra Palace and also where we held our Ally Pally Theatre fundraiser this summer.

Massimo Bergamin at local business The Haberdashery has set up a charity calendar which we thought we'd let you Londoners know about. Here's the info...

"Over the past couple of months we have been busy putting together a Crouch End Charity Calendar.

For a while we have been thinking on what to do to try help our Tottenham neighbours who have been affected by the riots in the summer.

When we have finally come up with the idea of the calendar we have been very fortunate to find the help of Andrew Thornthon from Budgens who sponsored the project, and the amazing John Davis who took all the pictures completely free of charge.

The pictures are of "interesting characters" of Crouch End. From Sue, the Lollipop Lady, to Gordon, the Big Isse seller outside Waitrose, we wanted to put together a year of recognisible faces.

The calendar is of very good quality. It has been printed on an A3 size with a back board and it is shrink wrapped.

Deducting printing costs we are looking to raise around £16.000 for this cause. All the money will be donated to "Harringey Community Circles", an association put togehter in order to explore how recovery and renewal of the area could be brought about. 100% of the profits will go to assisting those affected by the riots through a wide variaty of initiatives.

Let's make it The Crouch End Christmas Present!"
